He has helped media organizations across the U.S. unify data sources, develop first- and zero-party data strategies and build systems that translate insights into measurable editorial and business outcomes.
Previously, Kyle led audience analytics strategy at Lee Enterprises and founded AlignSimple, a fractional strategy firm supporting newsrooms and broadcasters. Known for aligning stakeholders across editorial, product, and revenue teams, he blends strategic clarity with hands-on implementation making data approachable, impactful, and mission-aligned. He holds an MBA from the University of Montana and remains deeply committed to strengthening journalism that serves local communities.
