What was your most memorable job and why?

I worked at Catholic Relief Services for about 18 months before coming to LMA. At this job I was responsible for speaking tours across the U.S. featuring speakers from countries like Ghana, Malawi, Zimbabwe and more. These young speakers were often HIV positive, orphans, living in huts and more unthinkable circumstances.  For six weeks at a time, they shared their story day after day with donors here in the U.S. that were responsible for the building of schools, water systems, irrigation systems and more. This experience was so eye-opening and something I will never forget.

Fill in the blank. The industry needs to __________ right now.

What gets you fired up about work every morning?

I love the people I work with. I love our board members, R&D partners and everyone who works so hard to make sure this industry is sustainable for the future.

What keeps you up at night because of work?

I worry about the value of journalism not being upheld. With ‘fake news’ spreading like wildfire, true journalism is needed more then ever.
