In a year full of changes, Local Media Association is preparing for a few of its own.
After four years at LMA, Jed Williams, chief strategy officer, will be leaving the association at the end of July. He will explain more about what’s next for him in the coming days, via the LMA website.
Meanwhile, LMA has begun searching for a new chief strategy officer to lead strategy and key programs of Accelerate Local, LMA’s business model accelerator; lead or participate on teams that plan experiential learning programs such as Chief Digital Clubs and Innovation Missions; and contribute to overall LMA operations, communications, fundraising/fund programs, member service and industry support. (UPDATE: LMA hired Steve Baron as its new chief strategy officer.)
