Tell us a little bit about what AAM does. What problem does your company solve for a local media company?
AAM is a not-for-profit media assurance organization that provides third-party verification of media across channels to help publishers and media buyers transact with trust and transparency. AAM-audited publishers are part of our data distribution network that hundreds of media buying agencies rely on to find verified cross-media data. Our goal is to help media buyers buy and sellers sell, which means helping publishers stand out for their commitment to quality and transparency to advertisers.
What makes AAM unique?
AAM is committed to finding innovative solutions to help publishers earn more ad revenue. Our new automated digital assurance program streamlines the reporting and distribution of AAM-verified web and social media data, which are becoming increasingly important to media buyers. This data is automatically shared via AAM Brand View — a unique platform designed to help publishers feature their cross-media data and brand story in an easy-to-access, visual format. We also work with leading organizations such as the Journalism Trust Initiative, JournalList and Ad Fontes Media that have initiatives to help publishers stand out for their commitment to journalism ethics, implementing industry standards and best practices, and creating reliable, trusted content.
What is AAM’s Automated Digital Assurance Program?
We recently launched our digital assurance program to get validated digital web and social media data into buyers’ hands faster and with minimal effort from publishers. Since more buyers are asking for this data, we wanted to make it as easy as possible for publishers to share it. Once AAM receives read-only access to a publisher’s analytics platform and social accounts, we automatically collect, validate and report these metrics monthly to provide publishers and buyers with an accurate look at their web and social audience. This data is integrated into publishers’ AAM Brand View profiles, which are housed in AAM’s Media Intelligence Center.
What is AAM Brand View?
AAM Brand View is a platform that allows publishers to give a 360° view of their brand through videos, images, charts and more alongside their AAM-verified cross-media data. Publishers use Brand View to share their total brand story with buyers in one convenient, easy-to-access location. Brand View is complimentary for all AAM-audited publishers. It’s a great selling tool because publishers can share a custom link to their profiles with their teams internally and with advertisers, and the recipient doesn’t need to be logged into our database to view it. Here’s an example of a Brand View profile the Bradenton Herald.
