Deirdre Conner is Publisher & CEO of The Tributary, an investigative news organization based in Jacksonville and serving Florida. Deirdre is a media and capacity building executive with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector.
Deirdre started her career as a print journalist, spending nearly a decade covering a wide variety of issues before joining the nonprofit sector. Previously, she served as Vice President of the Nonprofit Center of Northeast Florida, where she worked with hundreds of organizations to champion their causes, problem-solve alongside them, and empower them with the tools and confidence to move to the next level of impact. She also operates a boutique consulting firm for nonprofit and social enterprise organizations called Ripple Effect Storytelling & Insights.
Deirdre is a native of Miami, and earned a B.A. in Sociology and Anthropology from Swarthmore College in Pennsylvania.
