The LMA Lab for Journalism Funding, made possible with support from Google News Initiative, is now accepting applications for up to 20 newsrooms to join its 2024 cohort.
We are pleased to announce an Informational Webinar on Thursday, May 23rd at 2 p.m. ET to enable newsrooms to learn more about the lab and answer application questions.
Since its launch in September 2020, the LMA Lab for Journalism Funding has trained more than 100 newsrooms in best practices for developing philanthropy as one pillar for sustaining essential local journalism. Those newsrooms have collectively raised more than $23 million to support their local journalism since completing the lab.
