Writer/Consultant, Word In Black

Renata Sago is an award-winning journalist whose voice, words, and photography have been seen and heard at various media institutions, including The New York Times, NPR, and the BBC. Sago has documented the wealth gap, the global influence of Black Harlem Renaissance-era dancers, and the grassroots movement to re-enfranchise youth and adults in the United States. Prior to a career in professional journalism, Sago worked in Paris with newly arrived immigrants from North and West Africa. She hails from Chicago.
